What it's about ...

It's been ten years since Jinta and his childhood friends have spent any time together. After a tragic accident, they've all gone their separate ways and have tried to move on with their lives.

But the accident has left each of them with emotional scars they are still dealing with, and the things they left unsaid all those years ago are still haunting them.

When they're called together to fulfill a final wish, they'll also find the answers they need to move on with their lives together.

Produced by A-1 Pictures (Fairy Tail, Black Butler, Blue Exorcist) and directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toradora!)in 2011, this series is not only looks fantastic, but it's story will mean you'll want to watch this one straight through in a single sitting.

The anime has just enough humour to lighten what would otherwise be quite a heavy topic, yet the characters and their emotions are still handled with care and respect.

The characters have soul, and you genuinely care about the journey they're taking and their reactions to what they are dealing with. The depth of the secondary characters and the fact that they are all quite well-rounded within such a short series, is also very impressive.
